DevOps Engineer with Data Mid+

Hi, we’re Devopsity - a DevOps team that provides cloud services for clients all over the world. At Devopsity you’ll meet a team of DevOps enthusiasts with years of experience, we are agility practitioners and constantly expand our expertise using the latest technology.\ \ We work with various clients across the globe, helping them at any point of the cloud deployment journey, either by integrating their current processes into the cloud environment, both private and public, or building your new infrastructure and architecture from scratch.\ \ As a DevOps Data Engineer in Devopsity you will work with our experienced team and take part in solving real problems. On our part, we will provide the most modern tools for working and developing your skills.

What will you be doing?

  • Daily work with flexible working hours 8:00 - 18:00
  • Learning lots of exciting and valuable things and sharing knowledge with younger teammates
  • Having a lot of fun with cloud and data working on external client projects
  • Working in the Data Platform product team with Cloudera Public Cloud on AWS
  • Automation of software development, testing and deployment processes (CI/CD)
  • Containerization of development and production environments (Docker + Kubernetes)
  • Creating and configuring infrastructure as code (IaC) in Terraform and Ansible

Required Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Config Management tools (Ansible)
  • Strong focus on production-ready and secure environments / production mindset
  • 5 years of professional experience in developer, SysOps or DevOps fields
  • Strong focus on operations (support, troubleshooting)
  • Minimum intermediate English proficiency
  • Ability to use Terraform as an IaC tool 

Nice to have:

  • Good German language skills
  • Kubernetes know-how, preferably AWS EKS
  • Monitoring, logging and alerting tools
